Most communication advice starts with what to say. I’ve been asked, probably 1000’s of times, “what should I say to ……” and what I’ve learnt over the years, especially in my early leadership days of rushing to fix and give advice, before I learnt to tame my advice monster (if you haven’t read the Advice Trap by MBS, I’d recommend it highly), is that what people are really asking isn’t “what words should I say” but “why is saying it so difficult, why hasn’t what I’ve said be
